Remmina is a remote desktop client written in GTK+, aiming to be useful for system administrators and travellers, who need to work with lots of remote computers in front of either large monitors or tiny netbooks.

Remmina supports multiple network protocols in an integrated and consistent user interface.

Currently RDP, VNC, SPICE, NX, XDMCP and SSH are supported.

There are three methods to install remmina on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install remmina Using apt-get

To remove remmina configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge remmina
