This package contains the XML files that describe the menu layout for GNOME and KDE, and the .desktop files that define the names and icons of “subdirectories” in the menus.

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh

Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install redhat-menus using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install redhat-menus
How To Uninstall redhat-menus on AlmaLinux 8
To uninstall only the redhat-menus package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove redhat-menus
