How To Install rakudo-lib on Debian 9

What is rakudo-lib
rakudo-lib is:
Rakudo Perl is a compiler that implements the Perl 6 specification and runs on top of several virtual machines. Debian rakudo package runs on top of MoarVM.
Perl 6 is a programming language, member of the Perl family. Like Perl 5, her world-famous big sister, Perl 6 intends to carry forward the high ideals of the Perl community and is currently being developed by a team of dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers.
This package provides an ELF libray required by rakudo package
There are three methods to install rakudo-lib
on Debian 9. We can use apt-get

and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install rakudo-lib Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install rakudo-lib
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install rakudo-lib

Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install rakudo-lib

by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install rakudo-lib

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install rakudo-lib

How To Uninstall rakudo-lib on Debian 9

sudo apt-get remove rakudo-lib
