How To Install rafkill on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install rafkill on Kali Linux.
What is rafkill
rafkill is:
Rafkill is a clone of Raptor: Call of the Shadows, a classic shoot’em-up game.
You have a bird’s eye view of the playing field, which is an alien world, and your job is to destroy the enemies that are flying towards you shooting bullets. The score lets you buy life, shield, better weapons or even new spaceships.
Rafkill features three spaceships, more than twenty weapons, colourful graphics with transparency effects, music and sound.
There are three methods to install rafkill on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install rafkill Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install rafkill using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install rafkillInstall rafkill Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install rafkill using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install rafkillInstall rafkill Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the rafkill package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove rafkillUninstall rafkill And Its Dependencies
To uninstall rafkill and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove rafkillRemove rafkill Configurations and Data
To remove rafkill configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge rafkillRemove rafkill configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
