What is radicale3

The Radicale Project is a CalDAV (calendar) and CardDAV (contact) server. It aims to be a light solution, easy to use, easy to install, easy to configure. As a consequence, it requires few software dependencies and is pre-configured to work out-of-the-box. The Radicale Project runs on most of the UNIX-like platforms (Linux, BSD, MacOS X) and Windows. It is known to work with Evolution, Lightning, iPhone and Android clients. It is free and open-source software, released under GPL version 3. Install radicale3 on CentOS 8 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache

After updating yum database, We can install radicale3 using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install radicale3

Install radicale3 on CentOS 8 Using dnf

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first. Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache

After updating yum database, We can install radicale3 using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install radicale3

How To Uninstall radicale3 on CentOS 8

To uninstall only the radicale3 package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove radicale3
