How To Install rabbitsign on Ubuntu 22.04

What is rabbitsign

RabbitSign is a free implementation of TI’s application signing system for the TI-73/83+/84+ calculators.
It handles binary, sorted and unsorted hex, and GraphLink files, automatically detects keys, checks the validity of important header fields, can validate and re-sign previously signed apps, accepts all valid keys, is highly portable, has no stupid limitations on file names, application lengths, or header fields and is faster by an order of magnitude than TI’s software.
There are three methods to install rabbitsign on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install rabbitsign Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install rabbitsign using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install rabbitsign
Install rabbitsign Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install rabbitsign using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install rabbitsign
Install rabbitsign Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install rabbitsign using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install rabbitsign
How To Uninstall rabbitsign on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the rabbitsign package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove rabbitsign
Uninstall rabbitsign And Its Dependencies
To uninstall rabbitsign and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove rabbitsign
Remove rabbitsign Configurations and Data
To remove rabbitsign configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge rabbitsign
Remove rabbitsign configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove rabbitsign configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
