How To Install r-doc-html on Kali Linux

What is r-doc-html

r-doc-html is:

The R distribution contains functionality for a large number of statistical procedures and underlying applied math computations. There is also a large set of functions which provide a flexible graphical environment for creating various kinds of data presentations.

Additionally, several thousand extension “packages” are available from CRAN, the Comprehensive R Archive Network, many also as Debian packages, named ‘r-cran-’.

There are three methods to install r-doc-html on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install r-doc-html Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

How To Uninstall r-doc-html on Kali Linux

To uninstall only the r-doc-html package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove r-doc-html

To uninstall r-doc-html and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove r-doc-html

Remove r-doc-html Configurations and Data

To remove r-doc-html configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge r-doc-html
