The Resource Description Framework, or ‘RDF’ is a widely used data representation model that forms the cornerstone of the Semantic Web. ‘RDF’ represents data as a graph rather than the familiar data table or rectangle of relational databases. The ‘rdflib’ package provides a friendly and concise user interface for performing common tasks on ‘RDF’ data, such as reading, writing and converting between the various serializations of ‘RDF’ data, including ‘rdfxml’, ’turtle’, ’nquads’, ’ntriples’, and ‘json-ld’; creating new ‘RDF’ graphs, and performing graph queries using ‘SPARQL’. This package wraps the low level ‘redland’ R package which provides direct bindings to the ‘redland’ C library. Additionally, the package supports the newer and more developer friendly ‘JSON-LD’ format through the ‘jsonld’ package. The package interface takes inspiration from the Python ‘rdflib’ library.

There are three methods to install r-cran-rdflib on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install r-cran-rdflib Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install r-cran-rdflib using apt-get by running the following command:

After updating apt database, We can install r-cran-rdflib using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install r-cran-rdflib using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install r-cran-rdflib

How To Uninstall r-cran-rdflib on Kali Linux

To uninstall only the r-cran-rdflib package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove r-cran-rdflib

Uninstall r-cran-rdflib And Its Dependencies

To uninstall r-cran-rdflib and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove r-cran-rdflib

Remove r-cran-rdflib Configurations and Data

To remove r-cran-rdflib configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge r-cran-rdflib

Remove r-cran-rdflib configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
