How To Install r-cran-ranger on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install r-cran-ranger on Kali Linux.
What is r-cran-ranger
r-cran-ranger is:
A fast implementation of Random Forests, particularly suited for high dimensional data. Ensembles of classification, regression, survival and probability prediction trees are supported. Data from genome-wide association studies can be analyzed efficiently. In addition to data frames, datasets of class ‘gwaa.data’ (R package ‘GenABEL’) and ‘dgCMatrix’ (R package ‘Matrix’) can be directly analyzed.
There are three methods to install r-cran-ranger on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install r-cran-ranger Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install r-cran-ranger using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the r-cran-ranger package we can use the following command:

To remove r-cran-ranger configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
