How To Install r-cran-polycub on Debian 12
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install r-cran-polycub on Debian 12.
What is r-cran-polycub
r-cran-polycub is:
Numerical integration of continuously differentiable functions f(x,y) over simple closed polygonal domains. The following cubature methods are implemented: product Gauss cubature (Sommariva and Vianello, 2007, doi:10.1007/s10543-007-0131-2), the simple two-dimensional midpoint rule (wrapping ‘spatstat.geom’ functions), adaptive cubature for radially symmetric functions via line integrate() along the polygon boundary (Meyer and Held, 2014, doi:10.1214/14-AOAS743, Supplement B), and integration of the bivariate Gaussian density based on polygon triangulation. For simple integration along the axes, the ‘cubature’ package is more appropriate.
There are three methods to install r-cran-polycub on Debian 12. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install r-cran-polycub Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install r-cran-polycub using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install r-cran-polycub
Install r-cran-polycub Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install r-cran-polycub using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install r-cran-polycub
Install r-cran-polycub Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install r-cran-polycub using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install r-cran-polycub
How To Uninstall r-cran-polycub on Debian 12
To uninstall only the r-cran-polycub package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove r-cran-polycub
Uninstall r-cran-polycub And Its Dependencies
To uninstall r-cran-polycub and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 12, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove r-cran-polycub
Remove r-cran-polycub Configurations and Data
To remove r-cran-polycub configuration and data from Debian 12 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge r-cran-polycub
Remove r-cran-polycub configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove r-cran-polycub configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge r-cran-polycub
Dependencies
