The R package ‘ggplot2’ is a plotting system based on the grammar of graphics. ‘GGally’ extends ‘ggplot2’ by adding several functions to reduce the complexity of combining geometric objects with transformed data. Some of these functions include a pairwise plot matrix, a two group pairwise plot matrix, a parallel coordinates plot, a survival plot, and several functions to plot networks.

There are three methods to install r-cran-ggally on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install r-cran-ggally Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install r-cran-ggally using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install r-cran-ggally using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install r-cran-ggally using aptitude by running the following command:
