How To Install r-cran-gert on Kali Linux

What is r-cran-gert
r-cran-gert is:
Simple git client for R based on ’libgit2’ with support for SSH and HTTPS remotes. All functions in ‘gert’ use basic R data types (such as vectors and data-frames) for their arguments and return values. User credentials are shared with command line ‘git’ through the git-credential store and ssh keys stored on disk or ssh-agent.
There are three methods to install r-cran-gert on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install r-cran-gert Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install r-cran-gert using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install r-cran-gertInstall r-cran-gert Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install r-cran-gert using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
