How To Install r-cran-geometry on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install r-cran-geometry on Kali Linux.
What is r-cran-geometry
r-cran-geometry is:
This GNU R package makes the qhull library (www.qhull.org) available in R, in a similar manner as in Octave and MATLAB. Qhull computes convex hulls, Delaunay triangulations, halfspace intersections about a point, Voronoi diagrams, furthest-site Delaunay triangulations, and furthest-site Voronoi diagrams. It runs in 2-d, 3-d, 4-d, and higher dimensions. It implements the Quickhull algorithm for computing the convex hull. Qhull does not support constrained Delaunay triangulations, or mesh generation of non-convex objects, but the package does include some R functions that allow for this. Currently the package only gives access to Delaunay triangulation and convex hull computation.
There are three methods to install r-cran-geometry on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install r-cran-geometry Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install r-cran-geometry using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install r-cran-geometryInstall r-cran-geometry Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install r-cran-geometry using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install r-cran-geometryInstall r-cran-geometry Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install r-cran-geometry using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install r-cran-geometryHow To Uninstall r-cran-geometry on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the r-cran-geometry package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove r-cran-geometryUninstall r-cran-geometry And Its Dependencies
To uninstall r-cran-geometry and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove r-cran-geometryRemove r-cran-geometry Configurations and Data
To remove r-cran-geometry configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge r-cran-geometryRemove r-cran-geometry configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove r-cran-geometry configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge r-cran-geometryDependencies
r-cran-geometry have the following dependencies:
- r-base-core
- r-api-4.0
- r-cran-magic
- r-cran-rcpp
- r-cran-lpsolve
- r-cran-linprog
