How To Install qxw on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install qxw on Kali Linux.
What is qxw
qxw is:
Qxw is a program to help you create and publish crosswords, from the simplest blocked grid to sophisticated thematic puzzles. It can make rectangular-, hexagonal- or circular-format grids with blocks, bars or both. It has an automatic grid-filling facility that can handle a wide range of answer treatments and you can even add your own answer treatment methods. Grids can be filled using letters, digits, or a mixture of both. Qxw can produce output in a range of formats ready for publication.
Qxw is written in C and has a GUI based on GTK+.
There are three methods to install qxw on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install qxw Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install qxw using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install qxwInstall qxw Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install qxw using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude -y install qxwHow To Uninstall qxw on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the qxw package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove qxwUninstall qxw And Its Dependencies
To uninstall qxw and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove qxwRemove qxw Configurations and Data
To remove qxw configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge qxwRemove qxw configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove qxw configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
