How To Install quagga-isisd on Ubuntu 18.04

What is quagga-isisd
quagga-isisd is:
GNU Quagga is free software which manages TCP/IP based routing protocols. It supports BGP4, BGP4+, OSPFv2, OSPFv3, IS-IS, RIPv1, RIPv2, and RIPng as well as the IPv6 versions of these.
This package contains the IS-IS routing daemon.
There are three methods to install quagga-isisd
on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude

Install quagga-isisd Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install quagga-isisd
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install quagga-isisd
Install quagga-isisd Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install quagga-isisd
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install quagga-isisd
Install quagga-isisd Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install quagga-isisd
using aptitude

How To Uninstall quagga-isisd on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the quagga-isisd
