How To Install qt5-qmake on Kali Linux

What is qt5-qmake
qt5-qmake is:
Qt is a cross-platform C++ application framework. Qt’s primary feature is its rich set of widgets that provide standard GUI functionality.
This package contains the Qt 5 qmake, a tool that helps simplify the build process for development project across different platforms. qmake automates the generation of Makefiles so that only a few lines of information are needed to create each Makefile. qmake can be used for any software project, whether it is written using Qt or not.
Qt 5 qmake requires a platform and compiler description file which contains many default values used to generate appropriate Makefiles.
This package contains also these platform specifications.
There are three methods to install qt5-qmake on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install qt5-qmake Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install qt5-qmake using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install qt5-qmakeInstall qt5-qmake Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install qt5-qmake using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install qt5-qmake using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the qt5-qmake package we can use the following command:

To uninstall qt5-qmake and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove qt5-qmakeRemove qt5-qmake Configurations and Data
To remove qt5-qmake configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge qt5-qmakeRemove qt5-qmake configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove qt5-qmake configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge qt5-qmakeDependencies
