How To Install qt4-doc on Ubuntu 18.04

What is qt4-doc
qt4-doc is:
Qt is a cross-platform C++ application framework. Qt’s primary feature is its rich set of widgets that provide standard GUI functionality.
This package contains the complete Qt 4 API documentation (new help format).
The documentation is provided in the new help format and manpage format; the new help format version can be viewed in conjunction with the Qt Assistant found in the qt4-dev-tools package.
There are three methods to install qt4-doc on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install qt4-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install qt4-doc using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install qt4-doc
Install qt4-doc Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install qt4-doc using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install qt4-doc
Install qt4-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install qt4-doc using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install qt4-doc
How To Uninstall qt4-doc on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the qt4-doc package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove qt4-doc
Uninstall qt4-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall qt4-doc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove qt4-doc
Remove qt4-doc Configurations and Data
To remove qt4-doc configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge qt4-doc
Remove qt4-doc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove qt4-doc configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge qt4-doc
