How To Install qspeakers on Debian 10

In this tutorial we learn how to install qspeakers
on Debian 10.
What is qspeakers
qspeakers is:
QSpeakers is a simple graphical program that simulates common acoustical enclosures behaviour to help designing loudspeaker systems, based on the loudspeaker driver’s Thiele / Small parameters and the chosen enclosure type.
This software is mostly useful for do-it-yourself loudspeaker enthusiasts, acoustics teaching, and to a lesser extent, for loudspeaker engineering.
There are three methods to install qspeakers
on Debian 10. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install qspeakers Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install qspeakers
using apt-get

Install qspeakers Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude

After updating apt database, We can install qspeakers
using aptitude

sudo aptitude -y install qspeakers
How To Uninstall qspeakers on Debian 10
To uninstall only the qspeakers
package we can use the following command:
