Plugin pack is a set of extra plugins for Qmmp. * FFap - enhanced Monkey’s Audio (APE) decoder (24-bit samples and embedded cue support) * SRC - sample rate converter * XMP - module player with use of the libxmp library * Goom - audio visualization based on goom project * Ytb - audio playback from YouTube (uses youtube-dl)
We can use yum or dnf to install qmmp-plugin-pack on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install qmmp-plugin-pack.
Install qmmp-plugin-pack on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install qmmp-plugin-pack using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install qmmp-plugin-pack
Install qmmp-plugin-pack on CentOS 8 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install qmmp-plugin-pack using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install qmmp-plugin-pack
How To Uninstall qmmp-plugin-pack on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the qmmp-plugin-pack package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove qmmp-plugin-pack
