How To Install qemu-user-static on Kali Linux

What is qemu-user-static
qemu-user-static is:
QEMU is a fast processor emulator: currently the package supports ARM, CRIS, i386, M68k (ColdFire), MicroBlaze, MIPS, PowerPC, SH4, SPARC and x86-64 emulation. By using dynamic translation it achieves reasonable speed while being easy to port on new host CPUs.
This package provides the user mode emulation binaries, built statically. In this mode QEMU can launch Linux processes compiled for one CPU on another CPU.
qemu-user-static package will register binary formats which the provided emulators can handle, so that it will be possible to run foreign binaries directly.
There are three methods to install qemu-user-static on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install qemu-user-static Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install qemu-user-static using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install qemu-user-staticInstall qemu-user-static Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install qemu-user-static using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the qemu-user-static package we can use the following command:

To remove qemu-user-static configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
