How To Install qdbm-util on Kali Linux

What is qdbm-util
qdbm-util is:
QDBM is an embedded database library compatible with GDBM and NDBM. It features hash database and B+ tree database and is developed referring to GDBM for the purpose of the following three points: higher processing speed, smaller size of a database file, and simpler API. This is the QDBM Database utilities package.
There are three methods to install qdbm-util on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install qdbm-util Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install qdbm-util using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install qdbm-utilInstall qdbm-util Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install qdbm-util using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install qdbm-utilInstall qdbm-util Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install qdbm-util using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install qdbm-utilHow To Uninstall qdbm-util on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the qdbm-util package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove qdbm-utilUninstall qdbm-util And Its Dependencies
To uninstall qdbm-util and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove qdbm-utilRemove qdbm-util Configurations and Data
To remove qdbm-util configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge qdbm-utilRemove qdbm-util configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove qdbm-util configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge qdbm-utilDependencies
