How To Install qconf on CentOS 7
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install qconf
on CentOS 7.
What is qconf
QConf allows you to have a nice configure script for your qmake-based project. It is intended for developers who don’t need (or want) to use the more complex GNU autotools. With qconf/qmake, it is easy to maintain a cross-platform project that uses a familiar configuration interface on unix.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install qconf
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install qconf.
Install qconf on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
After updating yum database, We can install qconf
using yum
by running the following command:

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
