How To Install pyzor-doc on Debian 12

In this tutorial we learn how to install pyzor-doc
on Debian 12.
What is pyzor-doc
pyzor-doc is:
Pyzor is a collaborative, networked system to detect and block spam using identifying digests of messages.
Package contains both client and server.
The client can check if an email is a known spam against a pyzor server or report new spam digests to that server.
The server holds the digests database, and handle the client requests.
Pyzor is a reimplementation of Razor in Python.

There are three methods to install pyzor-doc
on Debian 12. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install pyzor-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install pyzor-doc
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install pyzor-doc

Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install pyzor-doc
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install pyzor-doc
Install pyzor-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install pyzor-doc
