What is python38-mod_wsgi
The mod_wsgi adapter is an Apache module that provides a WSGI compliant interface for hosting Python based web applications within Apache. The adapter is written completely in C code against the Apache C runtime and for hosting WSGI applications within Apache has a lower overhead than using existing WSGI adapters for mod_python or CGI. Only one Python 3 version of mod_wsgi can be loaded at the same time in httpd, therefore this package conflicts with the other versions available.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install python38-mod_wsgi

Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install python38-mod_wsgi

Install python38-mod_wsgi on AlmaLinux 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install python38-mod_wsgi
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install python38-mod_wsgi
How To Uninstall python38-mod_wsgi on AlmaLinux 8
To uninstall only the python38-mod_wsgi
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove python38-mod_wsgi
