This is a Python module for reading MaxMind DB files. The module includes both a pure Python reader and an optional C extension. MaxMind DB is a binary file format that stores data indexed by IP address subnets (IPv4 or IPv6).

or dnf
to install python36-maxminddb

Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install python36-maxminddb
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install python36-maxminddb
Install python36-maxminddb on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install python36-maxminddb
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install python36-maxminddb
How To Uninstall python36-maxminddb on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the python36-maxminddb
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove python36-maxminddb
