What is python36-docutils

The Docutils project specifies a plaintext markup language, reStructuredText, which is easy to read and quick to write. The project includes a python library to parse rST files and transform them into other useful formats such as HTML, XML, and TeX as well as commandline tools that give the enduser access to this functionality. Currently, the library supports parsing rST that is in standalone files and PEPs (Python Enhancement Proposals). Work is underway to parse rST from Python inline documentation modules and packages. This package contains the module, ported to run under python 3.6.

Install python36-docutils on CentOS 7 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache

After updating yum database, We can install python36-docutils using yum by running the following command:

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first. Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache

After updating yum database, We can install python36-docutils using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install python36-docutils

How To Uninstall python36-docutils on CentOS 7

To uninstall only the python36-docutils package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove python36-docutils
