How To Install python3-zipstream on Kali Linux

What is python3-zipstream

python3-zipstream is:

Zipstream.py is a zip archive generator based on python 3.3’s zipfile.py.

It was created to generate a zip file generator for streaming (ie web apps). This is beneficial for when you want to provide a downloadable archive of a large collection of regular files, which would be infeasible to generate the archive prior to downloading.

There are three methods to install python3-zipstream on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install python3-zipstream Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install python3-zipstream using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install python3-zipstream

Install python3-zipstream Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install python3-zipstream using apt by running the following command:

Install python3-zipstream Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install python3-zipstream using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install python3-zipstream
