What is python3-typed_ast
A fork of the ast module with type annotations. This package is based on the ast modules from Python 2 and 3, and has been extended with support for type comments and type annotations as supported in Python 3.6.
We can use yum or dnf to install python3-typed_ast on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install python3-typed_ast.
Install python3-typed_ast on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install python3-typed_ast using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install python3-typed_ast
Install python3-typed_ast on CentOS 8 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install python3-typed_ast using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install python3-typed_ast
How To Uninstall python3-typed_ast on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the python3-typed_ast package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove python3-typed_ast
