python3-testtools is:
testtools (formerly pyunit3k) is a set of extensions to the Python standard library’s unit testing framework. These extensions have been derived from years of experience with unit testing in Python and come from many different sources. It’s hoped that these extensions will make their way into the standard library eventually. Also included are backports from Python trunk of unittest features that are not otherwise available to existing unittest users.
This package contains the libraries for Python 3.x.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install python3-testtools
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install python3-testtools
How To Uninstall python3-testtools on Debian 9
To uninstall only the python3-testtools
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove python3-testtools
Uninstall python3-testtools And Its Dependencies
