How To Install python3-taglib on Ubuntu 18.04

What is python3-taglib
python3-taglib is:
Pytaglib provides an easy interface to read and write metadata of audio files in Python. It relies on the TagLib library and thus supports all formats that are supported by TagLib, which include all relevant formats in use today.
Pytaglib allows you to use arbitrary tag names (not only the most common ones like TITLE, ARTIST, ALBUM, …) and even define multiple values for the same tag, as long as the metadata system of the underlying audio file supports that.
There are three methods to install python3-taglib
on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install python3-taglib Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python3-taglib
using apt-get

After updating apt database, We can install python3-taglib
using apt

Install python3-taglib Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install python3-taglib
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install python3-taglib
How To Uninstall python3-taglib on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the python3-taglib
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove python3-taglib
Uninstall python3-taglib And Its Dependencies
To uninstall python3-taglib
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove python3-taglib
Remove python3-taglib Configurations and Data
To remove python3-taglib
configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge python3-taglib
Remove python3-taglib configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove python3-taglib
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge python3-taglib
