What is python3-sphinx-latex
Sphinx is a tool that makes it easy to create intelligent and beautiful documentation for Python projects (or other documents consisting of multiple reStructuredText sources), written by Georg Brandl. It was originally created to translate the new Python documentation, but has now been cleaned up in the hope that it will be useful to many other projects. This package pulls in the TeX dependencies needed by Sphinx’s LaTeX builder.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install python3-sphinx-latex
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install python3-sphinx-latex.
Install python3-sphinx-latex on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install python3-sphinx-latex
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install python3-sphinx-latex
Install python3-sphinx-latex on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install python3-sphinx-latex
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install python3-sphinx-latex
How To Uninstall python3-sphinx-latex on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the python3-sphinx-latex
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove python3-sphinx-latex
