What is python3-registry
python-registry is a pure Python library that provides read-only access to Windows NT Registry files. These include NTUSER.DAT, userdiff, and SAM. The interface is two-fold a low level set of parsing objects and methods which may be used for advanced study of the Windows NT Registry.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install python3-registry

Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install python3-registry
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install python3-registry
Install python3-registry on AlmaLinux 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install python3-registry
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install python3-registry
How To Uninstall python3-registry on AlmaLinux 8
To uninstall only the python3-registry
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove python3-registry
