What is python3-pykafka
python3-pykafka is:
PyKafka is a programmer-friendly Kafka client for Python. It includes Python implementations of Kafka producers and consumers, which are optionally backed by a C extension built on librdkafka. It runs under Python 2.7+, Python 3.4+, and PyPy, and supports versions of Kafka 0.8.2 and newer.
PyKafka’s primary goal is to provide a similar level of abstraction to the JVM Kafka client using idioms familiar to Python programmers and exposing the most Pythonic API possible.
There are three methods to install python3-pykafka
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install python3-pykafka Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python3-pykafka
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install python3-pykafka

Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install python3-pykafka
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install python3-pykafka
Install python3-pykafka Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install python3-pykafka
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install python3-pykafka
How To Uninstall python3-pykafka on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the python3-pykafka
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove python3-pykafka
Uninstall python3-pykafka And Its Dependencies
To uninstall python3-pykafka
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove python3-pykafka
