How To Install python3-pdfrw on Ubuntu 18.04

What is python3-pdfrw
python3-pdfrw is:
pdfrw can read and write PDF files, and can also be used to read in PDFs which can then be used inside reportlab.
pdfrw tries to be agnostic about the contents of PDF files, and support them as containers, but to do useful work, something a little higher-level is required. It supports the following:
- PDF pages. pdfrw knows enough to find the pages in PDF files you read in, and to write a set of pages back out to a new PDF file.
- Form XObjects. pdfrw can take any page or rectangle on a page, and convert it to a Form XObject, suitable for use inside another PDF file
- reportlab objects. pdfrw can recursively create a set of reportlab objects from its internal object format. This allows, for example, Form XObjects to be used inside reportlab.
This package installs the library for Python 3.
There are three methods to install python3-pdfrw on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install python3-pdfrw Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python3-pdfrw using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install python3-pdfrw using apt by running the following command:

Install python3-pdfrw Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install python3-pdfrw using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install python3-pdfrw
How To Uninstall python3-pdfrw on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the python3-pdfrw package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove python3-pdfrw
Uninstall python3-pdfrw And Its Dependencies
To uninstall python3-pdfrw and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove python3-pdfrw
Remove python3-pdfrw Configurations and Data
To remove python3-pdfrw configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge python3-pdfrw
Remove python3-pdfrw configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove python3-pdfrw configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge python3-pdfrw
