python3-orcus is:

Orcus is a library that provides a collection of standalone file processing filters. It is currently focused on providing filters for spreadsheet documents, but filters for other productivity application types (such as wordprocessor and presentation) are in consideration.

The library currently includes filters for xlsx, ods, csv, and generic XML formats.

This package contains the python bindings for liborcus.

There are three methods to install python3-orcus on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install python3-orcus Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update
