What is python3-monotonic

This module provides a monotonic() function which returns the value (in fractional seconds) of a clock which never goes backwards. On Python 3.3 or newer, monotonic will be an alias of time.monotonic from the standard library. On older versions, it will fall back to an equivalent platform specific implementation.

Install python3-monotonic on CentOS 8 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache

After updating yum database, We can install python3-monotonic using yum by running the following command:

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first. Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

How To Uninstall python3-monotonic on CentOS 8

To uninstall only the python3-monotonic package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove python3-monotonic
