What is python3-libxml2

The libxml2-python3 package contains a Python 3 module that permits applications written in the Python programming language, version 3, to use the interface supplied by the libxml2 library to manipulate XML files. This library allows to manipulate XML files. It includes support to read, modify and write XML and HTML files. There is DTDs support this includes parsing and validation even with complex DTDs, either at parse time or later once the document has been modified. Install python3-libxml2 on CentOS 8 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache

After updating yum database, We can install python3-libxml2 using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install python3-libxml2

Install python3-libxml2 on CentOS 8 Using dnf

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first. Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache

After updating yum database, We can install python3-libxml2 using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install python3-libxml2

How To Uninstall python3-libxml2 on CentOS 8

To uninstall only the python3-libxml2 package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove python3-libxml2
