What is python3-kerberos
python3-kerberos is:
This Python package is a high-level wrapper for Kerberos (GSSAPI) operations. The goal is to avoid having to build a module that wraps the entire Kerberos.framework, and instead offer a limited set of functions that do what is needed for client/server Kerberos authentication based on http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc4559.txt.
Much of the C-code here is adapted from Apache’s mod_auth_kerb-5.0rc7.
This package contains the Python 3.x module.
There are three methods to install python3-kerberos
on Debian 10. We can use apt-get

Install python3-kerberos Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python3-kerberos

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install python3-kerberos
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install python3-kerberos
How To Uninstall python3-kerberos on Debian 10
To uninstall only the python3-kerberos
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove python3-kerberos
Uninstall python3-kerberos And Its Dependencies
To uninstall python3-kerberos
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 10, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove python3-kerberos
Remove python3-kerberos Configurations and Data
To remove python3-kerberos
configuration and data from Debian 10 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge python3-kerberos
Remove python3-kerberos configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
