How To Install python3-idna on Ubuntu 18.04

What is python3-idna
python3-idna is:
A library to support the Internationalised Domain Names in Applications (IDNA) protocol as specified in RFC 5891. This version of the protocol is often referred to as “IDNA2008” and can produce different results from the earlier standard from 2003.
The library is also intended to act as a suitable drop-in replacement for the “encodings.idna” module that comes with the Python standard library but currently only supports the older 2003 specification.
This package contains the module for Python 3.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install python3-idna using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install python3-idna

To uninstall only the python3-idna package we can use the following command:

To uninstall python3-idna and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove python3-idna
Remove python3-idna Configurations and Data
To remove python3-idna configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge python3-idna
