Gnucash provides accounting functions suitable for use by small businesses and individuals. It can track finances in multiple accounts, keeping running and reconciled balances. It has an X based graphical user interface, double entry, a hierarchy of accounts, expense accounts (categories), and can import Quicken QIF files and OFX files.
This package contains the Python bindings for Gnucash which allow you to read and manipulate Gnucash data files.
There are three methods to install python3-gnucash on Debian 10. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install python3-gnucash Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python3-gnucash using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

How To Uninstall python3-gnucash on Debian 10
To uninstall only the python3-gnucash package we can use the following command:
