What is python3-dolfinx
python3-dolfinx is:
DOLFIN is the Python and C++ interface of the FEniCS project for the automated solution of differential equations, providing a consistent PSE (Problem Solving Environment) for solving ordinary and partial differential equations. Key features include a simple, consistent and intuitive object-oriented API; automatic and efficient evaluation of variational forms; automatic and efficient assembly of linear systems; and support for general families of finite elements.
This is the next-generation version of libdolfinx-dev (DOLFIN-X). The legacy version of DOLFIN is provided by python3-dolfin.
This is a base package depending on the dolfinx packages with real or complex number support. By default the version built against the preferred version of PETSc in /usr/lib/petsc is selected, but the alternative version can be selected by setting the environment variable PETSC_DIR.
There are three methods to install python3-dolfinx on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install python3-dolfinx Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install python3-dolfinx using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install python3-dolfinx using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install python3-dolfinx using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the python3-dolfinx package we can use the following command:

To uninstall python3-dolfinx and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove python3-dolfinxRemove python3-dolfinx Configurations and Data
To remove python3-dolfinx configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge python3-dolfinxRemove python3-dolfinx configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove python3-dolfinx configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
