What is python3-distro
python3-distro is:
distro (for: Linux Distribution) provides information about the Linux distribution it runs on, such as a reliable machine-readable ID, or version information.
It is a renewed alternative implementation for Python’s original platform.linux_distribution function, but it also provides much more functionality which isn’t necessarily Python bound like a command-line interface.
This is the Python 3 version of the library.
There are three methods to install python3-distro on Debian 11. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

To remove python3-distro configuration and data from Debian 11 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge python3-distro
