Custodia allows one to serve retrieve, manage and store secrets for other applications. It is useful for distributed, stateless applications that use an image file base approach for instantiation like container based images. But it is alaso useful to manage distribution of key material across a multiple machines over a network.

This package includes the bindings for python3.

There are three methods to install python3-custodia on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install python3-custodia Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install python3-custodia using apt-get by running the following command:
