Python-RSA is a pure-Python RSA implementation. It supports encryption and decryption, signing and verifying signatures, and key generation according to PKCS#1 version 1.5. It can be used as a Python library as well as on the command-line.

Install python2-rsa on CentOS 7 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache

After updating yum database, We can install python2-rsa using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install python2-rsa

Install python2-rsa on CentOS 7 Using dnf

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first. Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache

After updating yum database, We can install python2-rsa using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install python2-rsa

How To Uninstall python2-rsa on CentOS 7

To uninstall only the python2-rsa package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove python2-rsa
