How To Install python-tf2-ros on Ubuntu 18.04

This package is part of Robot OS (ROS). tf2 is the second generation of the transform library, which lets the user keep track of multiple coordinate frames over time. tf2 maintains the relationship between coordinate frames in a tree structure buffered in time, and lets the user transform points, vectors, etc between any two coordinate frames at any desired point in time.
This package contains the ROS Python binding to tf2.

Install python-tf2-ros Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python-tf2-ros using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install python-tf2-ros

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install python-tf2-ros using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install python-tf2-ros
Install python-tf2-ros Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install python-tf2-ros using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install python-tf2-ros
How To Uninstall python-tf2-ros on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the python-tf2-ros package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove python-tf2-ros
Uninstall python-tf2-ros And Its Dependencies
To uninstall python-tf2-ros and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove python-tf2-ros
Remove python-tf2-ros Configurations and Data
To remove python-tf2-ros configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge python-tf2-ros
Remove python-tf2-ros configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove python-tf2-ros configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
