The test modules from the main python package These have been removed to save space, as they are never or almost never used in production. You might want to install the python-test package if you’re developing python code that uses more than just unittest and/or test_support.py.

Install python-test on CentOS 7 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache

After updating yum database, We can install python-test using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install python-test

Install python-test on CentOS 7 Using dnf

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first. Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache

After updating yum database, We can install python-test using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install python-test

How To Uninstall python-test on CentOS 7

To uninstall only the python-test package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove python-test
