How To Install python-soundfile on Ubuntu 18.04

python-soundfile is:
PySoundFile can read and write sound files in a variety of formats and eases the application of signal processing algorithms. File reading/writing is supported through libsndfile. By default, PySoundFile represents audio data as NumPy arrays, but ordinary Python buffers are supported as well.
This package provides the Python 2.x module.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install python-soundfile using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install python-soundfile
How To Uninstall python-soundfile on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the python-soundfile package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove python-soundfile
Uninstall python-soundfile And Its Dependencies
To uninstall python-soundfile and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove python-soundfile
Remove python-soundfile Configurations and Data
To remove python-soundfile configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge python-soundfile
Remove python-soundfile configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove python-soundfile configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
