How To Install python-shortuuid on Ubuntu 18.04

Often, one needs to use non-sequential IDs in places where users will see them, but the IDs must be as concise and easy to use as possible. shortuuid solves this problem by generating uuids using Python’s built-in uuid module and then translating them to base57 using lowercase and uppercase letters and digits, and removing similar-looking characters such as l, 1, I, O and 0.
There are three methods to install python-shortuuid on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install python-shortuuid Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python-shortuuid using apt-get by running the following command:
