How To Install python-shade on Ubuntu 18.04

What is python-shade
python-shade is:
Shade is a simple Python client library for operating OpenStack clouds. The key word here is simple. Clouds can do many things - but there are probably only about 10 of them that most people care about with any regularity. If you want to do complicated things, you should probably use the lower level client libraries - or even the REST API directly. However, if what you want is to be able to write an application that talks to clouds no matter what choices the deployer has made then shade is for you.
This package installs the library for Python 2.
There are three methods to install python-shade on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install python-shade Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python-shade using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install python-shade
Install python-shade Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install python-shade using apt by running the following command:

Install python-shade Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

How To Uninstall python-shade on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the python-shade package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove python-shade
Uninstall python-shade And Its Dependencies
To uninstall python-shade and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove python-shade
Remove python-shade Configurations and Data
To remove python-shade configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge python-shade
Remove python-shade configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
