How To Install python-repoze-who on CentOS 7

In this tutorial we learn how to install python-repoze-who on CentOS 7.
What is python-repoze-who
repoze.who is an identification and authentication framework for arbitrary WSGI applications. It acts as WSGI middleware. repoze.who is inspired by Zope 2’s Pluggable Authentication Service (PAS) (but repoze.who is not dependent on Zope in any way; it is useful for any WSGI application). It provides no facility for authorization (ensuring whether a user can or cannot perform the operation implied by the request). This is considered to be the domain of the WSGI application.
We can use yum or dnf to install python-repoze-who on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install python-repoze-who.
Install python-repoze-who on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install python-repoze-who using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install python-repoze-who
Install python-repoze-who on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install python-repoze-who using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install python-repoze-who
How To Uninstall python-repoze-who on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the python-repoze-who package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove python-repoze-who
